Captain Dave grew up in Newburyport, Massachusetts
and worked on charter, party and tuna fishing boats all through
high school. After graduating he decided to join the U.S. Coast
Guard and completed a twenty-nine year career. He has sailed
on waters from Alaska to Maine and holds a 100 ton Masters License
along with a Merchant Mariners Document along with recent certifications
for Standards of Certifications and Watch keeping (STCW). He
enjoys anything to do with the water, especially fishing and
will make every effort to make sure the charters expectations
are met.

Captain Curt Maxon has been part of the RELENTLESS crew for the
past five years. He is a native of Massachusetts and has fished
the local waters since he was a young man. Captain Curt is excellent
at locating piles of fish keeping customers happy with his knowledge
and sense of humor. He loves to catch sharks and has landed many
large ones over the years. You will often hear the words "We
are a full service charter boat" coming our of his mouth
during the trip. Many anglers call and request to fish with captain
Curt.
Captain Shaun has been a mate
and captain on board RELENTLESS since day one.
He has developed over the years into an excellent mate and is
well on his way to being a very experienced captain. He has had
trips fishing for cod, haddock and tuna where he has put the
older captains of the crew to shame after filling fish boxes
with some very nice steakers. He attends Massachusetts Maritime
Academy studying Marine Engineering and will pursue a career
in the maritime industry upon graduation sailing on ships or
tug boats.
Jerry another one of our mates
and captains is by far without a doubt the best in the fleet.
Nobody works harder than Jerry making sure your bait is fresh,
gaffing fish or tying rigs. He is a very experienced fisherman
who grew up fishing the local waters and also attended Massachusetts
Maritime obtaining a degree in Marine Engineering. He has some
very impressive catches including lading a 550 LB Blue Marlin
on a 50 class rod and reel combination. |
